GTL - water temp sensor unit.

After a run out, I noticed the temp warning light stay on, I've investigated the system, all full and no leaks to be seen, so suspect the sensor unit on the engine head is playing up, the warning light goes out if I disconnect it. Any help on getting a replacement, bearing in mind the new MOT rules re dashboard lights!!, thanks, Ed.

Hi Ed, I guess you could try your local motor factors, there's just a chance they might be able to help you. The two suppliers on the continent I mentioned to you before will have them, and isn't there an offshoot of Renault or a garage called Renault Lifestyle who have been recommended before on the forum? Worth a punt I reckon. Regards Brian.

I had a look on their website and couldn't find that part, however it might be worth phoning 'Micks Garage' (comes up through a google search - based in Ireland)... I got a couple of bits from them recently and they were good.

I bought the new sender last year from my local renault dealer, I do not remember price but they tend to be quite expensive.
If you have problems finding it locally, I could buy it for you and send.
