hand brake switch died

Hello. Today my princess had news for me. My hand brake switch., the one that lights the bulb at the instruments panel, died, and now I need replace it. Has anyone done that before ,?

Hi,

I can't remember How the switch is attached to the handbrake. But for better access, take one of thé seats out.

Are you sure its the switch, not just the bulb, or wire?

Here is handbrake with switch.

Switch is actually lever with spring. Only thing that came to my mind is that spring is broken but dough.

Here you can see spring in switch


You do not need to dismantle handbrake to change it.
Only undo M6 bolt and switch will fall down.

Maybe it is wire that goes from switch to the dash. It goes on floor so you might brake it accidentally

Solved.... It was just the wire...I haven't disassembled anything, just touched the wire and that fixed the problem..in the end she only wanted some attention..
