Hi
Got several jobs on at the moment and just waiting for the parts to arrive.
One of those is the handbrake mechanism - it basically had no cables when I bought it and the mechanism looks a little "bodged"

Can any one take a photo of what theirs looks like for me. Mine is a 1982/3 4TL and I have two cables going down to the front drums. I just need to see how these are connected at the lever end (in the engine bay).
Thanks
Ian

Like this? Or do you need pix of the cabling towards the drums?

My car only had one cable fitted - I am assuming it should have both left and right (front) cables fitted.

I can only see on in the photo.

The top lever dangling down - does that go to the handbrake rod (into the car) ?

My car has two cables, one for each front wheel. The "bracket" you see dangling in the first picture connects to the handbrake lever coming from the inside of the car.

Here's a closer look at the bracket where the ends of the cable join
