Hello, I just came across this very interesting site. Actually found when I googled, how to set up a chassis jig! What a great site you have! Bought back happy memories of my days owing older Renaults, the last Renault I owned was a, very fast, Laguna Initiale 180, got that one up to 135 MPH in Germany in 2010!
But my R4, 5, 12s, 18s were great cars. Very comfortable, ok not the R4!, and for the time very well equipped, R18.
My R5 did over 150,000 with no major work! Never broke down, original clutch, engine and gearbox, it was still going, 3 years after I sold it!
Modern cars are so desperately boring, no wonder older are going up in value!
Anyway, ill be back to crib a bit more welding info, I now on the look out for a LR Defender, rust comes as standard with those!
