Hello from Portugal

Hi there

I acquired a R4 (1108cc) in the past week.
Saturday morning went to scrapyard to buy a Super 5,Solex 32.
Saturday afternoon tried to degrease the engine , almost done ...
Water pump is broken, probably the engine head gasket needs replacement...
Today I'm going to order a brand new water pump, to fit it next Saturday.
Already have to be fitted Velleman ignition, new ignition leads, ignition points,
spark plugs and ignition cap.
The alternator needs some attention, when I took the plug, only had one lead ...
The breaks don't work.
The floor panels in the passenger side need some weldings.

Welcome Pedro - that sounds exactly like my first 4TL. I managed to get everythign done, including water pump and alternator.
