hello,
We just wanted to say hi. We live in france and have just bought a lovely french registered R4 who is a non runner - we are trying to find a Haynes manual for the R4 who is a 1988 model but cannot find anything older than a 1986 - would this be the same for our little car or would the manual have to be for a 1988. I am new to renovating cars and am sure to be needing help and this forum looks great at giving ace guidence.

You can buy a manual from Haynes direct for R4's to 1985. This would cover most of the operations on your car. There is also a wealth of knowlege on this forum so please carry out a search on anything you're not sure of.
