Hello there.
My name is Fernando and Im a proud owner of an r4 gtl (princess) made in Slovenia in 1991
I brought it brand new in 1991 with 0 km and she is now 460000 km I used it as my daily car for 15 years and them when she reached the 450000 km I brought a new car, and she had been parked in the street for the last 10 years., in those 10 years almost never drive it, lets say she as made about 5000 km in 10 years, I use to drive it 10 to 20 km monthly only for maintenance, until 2 moths ago when I suddenly decide to turn her in to my daily car again, and guess what? She is back and still reaches 160km...hehe 4l power.But and there's always a but right? she will need a lot of work oh boy, that's why Im here, I need to learn a lot of stuff from you guys, because right, now she is a protect, I will restore it to is condition when she was new, and Im a 0 on mechanics hihi but also a fast leaner.
Hope you guys may help with you knowledge.

Welcome, we have a Slovenian-built 1990 GTL, but it hasn't done as many km as yours has!

I always have special place for those R4 made in Slovenia.

Mine is 1992 Slovenian GTL, made 5 km (if so many ) ina last 5 years.

Thank you pepper hopefully it will be better in the future, now that decided to restore it to is initial condition, full restoration will be. By the amount of messages in your profile you are a veteran in the forum, I am In need of some advise, if you could help, from where should I start?

I'd be reading some of the other guys restoration threads, there's some really inspiring work being undertaken by a some dedicated people.

Meanwhile I just talk lots I don't restore vehicles
