Hi there guys, im new here.(obviously) , been directed here a while back by a guy on retrorides as id realy love an r4 (pref a van ) slowly saving up

Im realy involved with vw polos at the moment, currently own 3, two mk2's and a 77 mk1, but theres a local r4 thats making me realy hanker after one

anyway... look forward to talking to you guys...:smile:

Hi and Welcome, Polos are great cars too. I had a 1.0 estate, which I ended up putting a full Polo GT engine, suspension and rakes into. It was a great little car totally non descript but went like shit off a shovel!

Only trouble I found was people didn't expect such a car to be going quite as well as it did, luckily the upgraded brakes were excellent!

haha yeah thats true... i had a g40 , the supercharged one , for a while. luckily vw saw fit to improve the brakes on those... Im currently in the process of supercharging my polo saloon.. 1043cc with an eaton supercharger from a new mini
