How to remove locked switch box?

I have lost my only one key of the switch box. The steering wheel is locked. I bought a new switch box with a key, but how can I remove the locked switch box from the car?

You have one bolt on side that you need to remove and there is press button on upper side that you need to press to pull out switch.

But i am afraid that you need key to put lock in right position so that it is easy to press that button.

Without key you will need to brake old switch lock

Hi Pavel, Petak is correct; you need the key to take out the ignition lock. Usually your key should fit your ignition, doors and petrol cap. I took my door lock out and had a key made for it. The new key also fits the ignition, so I didn't have to break it out

WOW I wish I had keys like that ! I have 1 for the ignition, 1 for each of the doors one for the tailgate and one for the fuel cap...5 in total its a nightmare finding the right one

Unfortunately, I have three different keys: an other one for the switch box, doors and tank cap. How can I break the switch box?

Try to punch that push button with hammer!

You can drill the push button out, then the barrel of the lock can be pulled out.
