How to switch off the Service Light after servicing my Car?

Hi, Please assist. I have just had my Renault Clio 2001 serviced, and the service light doesnt switch off. Im in Africa, and where i am there are no Renault Service Centres, hence had it done by some local garage, but the Dopees don't know how to switch it off. Please assist..

It's switched off by the diagnostic device the Renault dealer plugs in to the car. It might be worth searching the internet to find some other way of switching the light off. People on this forum have the older Renaults without service lights.

My approach would be to cover the lamp with a little black tape.

hahaha, I think the tape suggestion looks very tempting! guess otherwise ill have to ship it to a renault dealer thousands of kilometers away. hmm I do luv my car..:-D

you take out the warning light bulb a bit dodgy thou !
