Ignition barrel

Hi. Does anyone know where I can get an ignition barrel for my 1989 Renault 4? Key got stuck in original one and sourcing one under 145euros is proving difficult!! Tankyou.

Valeo 252038 is available from www.mister-auto.pt/pt for 118.56 Euros. The same part costs £164.05 on their UK website!

There's a new one on French eBay: 311395166858
If you're in Portugal, I imagine it'd be pretty easy (and no doubt much cheaper) to get one from a scrapyard.

Why not use second hand one?
It should cost much less than 145€
But if you want to use same key for door lock, boot lock and start the engine you need to buy them too.... from same car.

Sometimes you can just dismantle the barrel and swap the contacts, keeping your old key. I'Ve seen sometimes even the bare contacts for sale.

Can you post a picture of the electrical connector, and also the total length of the barrel? I have some of them, new, for much less money.
