ignition problems

When it rains i have real problems starting my R4 anyone else sufferd this problem and found a remedy?
At the moment i cant start the car, engine turning over but just not starting. :?

The problem is almost certainly the high tension leads. A less likely possibility is a crack in the distributor cap or rotor arm, but my money is on the plug leads (same thing happened to me this year).

It could be just dirty leads and distributor. The dirt binds water, and causes flashover. I have had success cleaning the leads and distributor cap, drying them (in an oven, or over night), and spraying them with silicone (even inside the cap). You will need to remove the parts to be able to clean them thoroughly.
