In your opinion wich year was the best for the gtl model .?

After reading the Petak restoration protect I come to the conclusion that I must buy another gtl, so I can stop and disassemble mine and restore It.
This is the best place to get advised before buy, so In your opinion which was the best year of the gtl?

Rust proofing improved in the French built cars from 1984/1985 making the later cars a good choice for the UK. I don't know whether there was a similar change in the Spanish built cars.
