inner cv boot kit

Hi -looking for an inner cv boot kit - are the inners and outers different?

I have found an outer kit

The inner and outer boots are different. Just to complicate things, there are different inner boots depending on the type of driveshaft. But if your car (it's an R1128, isn't it?) has its original driveshafts, the part number given in all my parts books for the inner boot kit is 7701450617.

right I think I need a new CV joint - probably best and easiest to replace the whole shaft with both joints attached each end.

How do i find out what it the right one for my car? its a Renault 4 TL - 1982 - R1123 - 850cc

If it's post-'74, there is only one driveshaft type that will fit both sides and all R4 versions up to 1992, so that's easy.

Hello all, just joined as daughter has a 1987 F4 and needs help. Sorry to highjack an old thread but her latest problem is driveshaft has gone. Ordered 2 from ebay with all details we have and they do not fit by a long way. If as Angel said above there is only one type that fits all, could you please let me have the details and where to purchase? Any help appreciated, details from oval plate and engine plate herewith, if these can help.
Oval - 210B. 41 100 OEO. C 0336 26.
Engine plate - 688 D /12. C112019.

Hi, just checked the link and it shows 4 types but with 2 different lengths. Which to order, 670, 670/668 or 700? How do I tell?

Idiot that I am, 2 of those are suitable being for non ABS but still 2 different lengths. Garage will take shaft off and measure tomorrow.
