Interior lamp

Does the interior lamp work, irrespective of whether the ignition is on?

I've got 2 door switches (£.99p) as part of my renovation, along with a very neat interoir light delay (£4.99 from Amazon) and want to figure out the wiring.

If the lamp does normally work with the ignition off, its going to be very easy, otherwise...

Ours works even if the ignition isn't on, but maybe that's because of the way I connected it

Mine don't work at all, due to the previous owner's shonky rewiring. They're next on the list to fix.
