Folks,
Does anyone have their shell stripped and would be willing to post a photo of the inside of the roof?. I would like to see the positions of the roof bracing bits so I can measure up where to locate my sunroof. Depending on how many there are I would like to take the minimum number out whilst keeping the sunroof in a decent location. Wouldn't like to have to remove a brace because the sunroof hole overlaps it by an inch for example.

Here is what I have (pictures)

1. Picture is showing how roof trim brackets are holding in place.
2. picture is roof trim upside down
3. picture is location of first bracket that holds roof trim.

Unfortunately do not have measurements!

That's great Petak, thanks very much. My car is a '76 TL, but it looks like your car is similar, I too have a material headlining with what seems like wires holding it up, I'll know when I summon up the courage to cut the hole!. If it's the same I'll have to remove numbers two and three looking from the front.
