whan ı turn over my r 4 engıne wıth good batery and petrol ın the carb. ıt
wıll NOT FIRE at all, ıf ı spray a LITTLE COLD START ınto the CARB. and
turn the engıne, ıt WILL START rıght away, and run OK. ınfo to e.mail-
johnseraike@Hotmail.com I put thıs car FIRST tıme On the road ın 1973 ın
germany, and today stıll ın good conditıon.

It's like me and coffee, if I don't get it in the morning, I don't work!!

Hi John, do you start your car with your choke on? Is it working properly? It could be a multitude of reasons, from plugs,points and timing, but you should start with the carb, take it apart and clean everything, blow out the jets and clean the filter if you have one. Cold start spray is like a caffeine kickstart and probably overrides any issues that you have

Pull the petrol pipe off the carburettor and turn the engine over to see if fuels getting to the engine.
