Knackered rear suspension

Hi there,
The rear suspension on '89 R4 TL (950 cc) is completely knackered.
A couple of moths back I installed good quality new rear shox thinking that would quieten it down but it was no better. Then I looked carefully at the ends of the silentblock bushings that are easily visible just ahead of the tyre and I see they are completely shagged. I've ordered all new bushes that relate to the rear sus, but I am a bit scared of the job...am I going to have to tsngo with that torsion bar if I want to replace all the bushings?
Thanks in advance...

Yes, you have to remove / refit the torsion bars, but this is the easy part of the job. The hard one is pressing the bushings in the arms, in the correct position to both the arm and to each other. Your best bet is to find a garage with knowledge and leave the work to them.

Thank you- good advice no doubt!
