Left hand drive chassis

As the supply of right hand drive R4s is rapidly declineing , many of us that are not hardend MIG welders will be forced to consider our first "chassis up" restoration. Can anyone advise me if the left hand drive chassis have any differences to our right hand drive versions. I'm considering the supply of good chassis in France as the basis for a restoration project.
If anyone has completed a left to right conversion I would love to hear from them.

The chassis itself is the same for LHD and RHD, but the body shells are different between the two - specificaly the bulkhead panels. For a LHD to RHD conversion you'd need to cut a few holes in the RHS of the bulkhead for the brakes and steering, and weld in some brackets to attach them. Not as bad as it sounds. At least I hope not - I'm debating whether to do much the same thing converting brakes from '68 spec to GTL spec.

Other than that it's a case of fitting bits from a RHD car - dash and steering rack for certain, then possibly pedal assembly and wiring loom.
