Locking front passenger's door

Is it only my R4 and spare door that I have or all of them don't have locking mechanism from the inside and to lock front passenger's door you must use the key from the outside ? It is quite annoying.

Mine also can only be locked from the outside on the front, while the rears can only be locked from the inside! I think it's a Renault 4 thing.

Early cars only had the lock on the drivers door and all others locking on the internal lever.

I was thinking about doing something about it , I would prefer to lock the car from the inside rather than run around the car ( I've got spare rear lock to try adjusting it for the front) . Though my girlfriend is happy when I have to open her the door every time she gets in or out( she feels like lady )

Just never unlock it, we always just let people in when my parents had them back when we were kids.

I managed to adjust rear lock ( needed some cutting ) and now I've got locking from the inside on three doors
