Wowza!

Let me tell you guys about this deverstating virus.

I rarley get ill as I am well looked after at home and eat well. Lord Stanbury would say i am spoilt.

Now last friday I came over dizzy and statred to feel ill so I gave up work early that night and retired to my room. Saturday saw the rise of a sore throat and sunday i gained a bad back and general illness.

I thought it was just a cold as i had beed working in a draft earlier in the week but i couldn't have been more wrong.

I started payed employment at the age of 13 and I have never had a day off sick. I probably held a record somewhere - that was until last week.

I had to take a full week off work UN PAID and all I could do was rest in bed. I have never been hit so bad by a bug.

so watch out guys!

Strewth! Get well soon Mike. After the swine and bird flu panics we now hear very little. Sounds like you've had a very nasty strain that's been lurking.
