Hello there everybody on the forum- which has been most interesting this Summer.I have to make a push and seek out the parts necessary to do ( hopefully mr Reno to do that is...if you are listening..) the Renault 5 mk 1carb/manifold conversion etc. this Autumn. I am going to France in November and will visit the breakers with tools and a van as I am delivering a fine oak table to Normandy. .Further information from any of you as to part nos and types from the 5s would be very useful , and I will be happy to seek out anything else that you might need. hi matt ,just to let you know the great barn tidyup has revealed some r5 mk1 carbs and manifolds (thought it might) and a brand new tiny solex with choke flap!!!
will investigate condition but no sign of rocker cover and linkage or air filter needed

Thanks Mr Reno...I'll trust you to keep anything you think will be of use to me..much appreciated.My mot is up in Dec ember so I'll be booking in with you soon hopefully.As to this barn tidy up..is it "THE" Barn you're talking about?
