Hello everyone on the forum.I have just got back from a week in Normandy France where I spent a day going around to three breakers yards (casses voitures) I found at least eight r4 cars and 3 vans in various states of decomposition from which I got some parts. It was great fun but I realised one needs much more time -days I reckon- to get some serious stock. One yard was very helpfull and will be removing spare parts "to order" from a very sound GTL they had- such as steering rack alternator etc
My F6 project is still ambling along...I took it to see a certain Paul Cunningham Renault expert in Worthing who was suprised to see what good condition mine was in. He still found 3 new holes underneath and behind the quarter panel however which need patching up before it goes into the spray shop later this month.
Anyway ,the forum has been very interesting as of late, and its nice to know I' m not the only mad person out there! M

..mad..

Hello M

You think you are mad? - well I am a firm believer that there are only 3 things that matter in life - being able to count and knowing that Clementine is mad as a hatter..... as are all of of us on this site and what a real treat to know that we are all in the same Renault 4 'bath'!!

Nutter of Western France

ps Rudi - Cd is on its way!!!
