RENAULT 4 / 8 lead.
I've just been on ebay and saw this MULTISPARK IMPROVED IGNITION - Increases Power
- Saves Fuel
- Lowers Emissions
- Improves Starting
- Extends Plug Life
- Guaranteed 10 Years
- Works with:
- Points
- Electronic Ignition
- Fuel Injection
Has any members got any input into this, like does it really work and if it does, is it worth buying or is it just a load of toffee

Just had a look at the 'Multispark' unit. I just cannot believe that someone is still peddling these things - they were around when I was a lad. Inside the unit is a 1/4" gap either side of a couple of contacts. Makers claim that the end result is a cooler spark which saves money, more power etc.

Ever heard of snake oil???

With modern technology you just never know, that is why I was asking but I never buy any thing without first researching it thoroughly.
thanks again Steve

Hi billy..just saw an ad like this.they had 5 different gizmo's giving 20%/30%/25%40% reduction -added up a Whopping 115% petrol
They didn't tell Which petrol-stations are in on this deal
-as i drive a lot I would need somewhere close as it will amount to 100's of liters a year! Or my cup would runneth'over and I don't need That! -R

Hi Reidalpine,
Well as we all get good miles to the gallon with our little cars it doesn't really matter, just wondered if any one had used it and wanted their view on it.

Hi again billy! just pulling your leg a little bit there.. No pun.
-I remember trying one of those magnets told to improve petrol atomic structure or something -Didn't work wonders either..
But...
mounting a huge strong magnet infront of the grille Should do the trick. If you pull Really close to the car in front of you You can sort of "slip-stream" by way of ***Magnetic Force*** TM/Reg
...as long as the car in front is not made of fiberglass that is ..

My conclusion is:
Best way of saving petrol is going for a diesel -Uggh! -R.
