Hi there
Just about to take delivery of my first ever 4L. I currently have a '57 Citroen AZU but wanted a little run around and managed to find a tidy little car in Toulouse.
Picking it up tomorrow. No CT so a bit of work to do but hope to get it on the road by the weekend.

Cheers
Ian

Got him home today.

Not too good a start - put on a new battery and the alternator went up in smoke before I even turned the key.

Disconnected the alternator and connected the ignition so it would start.

Started first time and ran very well but then a water leak sprung from behind the water pump.

I have stripped down the pump and will try and get some new gaskets tomorrow as well as a new alternator.

BUT as a newbie, how can I tell what size the engine is.:?::?: The care is a 1983 4TL the type on the Carte Gris is 112302.

Oh it doesn't have any brakes.... at all :?

Found it - 1123

So from the info I have found on the forum it is a 845cc.

There is another plaque on the engine if that means anything :?:
