What an emotion!
I thought it was too late for me and all the good occasions token, but it seems I were wrong...

Bought and brought yesterday by a friends of mine...

I originally bought her for spares, in order to restore my other one... but she seems in quite solid condition under a patina of dust and light rust... engine already dismantled in the luggage compartment but complete and with a complete set of gasket too! So I am a bit afraid of break her in pieces and maybe she will try to born again in a few years...

You're so lucky to find her-a true "barnfind"!! Even parked next to an old tractor! I'm surprised to see that the jack and wheel spanner are still there.
Any idea what year she is?

Think 71-72...
Still round gearbox, the squared one entered in 73 I know... don't know what else to look... no documents and don't know if the electric is 12 or 6 volts, think 12
The steering wheel should already have the splines and no more the 3 bolt fixing, it seems externally from his darker colour...

Wow lovely upholstery and dash! Well done an exciting find !

Nice catch you have found!

It is always hard to destroy one R4 to build second one, and i am sympathies with you and your tough decision

VERY comforting to see that Italy has tightened-up their car trailer regulations..............

Buona Fortuna M8 !

Great find Andrea!

It's model year 1973 judging from the oval plate, and seems untouched. What I like most on these Italian spec R4s is that they have the front bench seat as standard.

Ah ah!
the trailer was really irregular, without documents, we travelled in a completely illegal way with another trailer plates, 40 kms way and back for two times (2 cars rescued), 160 km total!
what an adventure...

I originally felt in love with the seats, wanted to put them on the 75 I am restoring... but I will feel guilty robbing them.
The problem is that the car came without documents, and I think that the only way to put her on the road again is to swap cards and chassis number from another car... the only one I have avilable now is a 79 gtl!

If you do decide to break would there be a spare ventilation flap (below windscreen) for me? Will pay

Yesterday I went to my friend's garden in orden to have a beer and bring home the stuff in the bonnet... would like to try some work on the engine.
Her floor is in surprisingly good conditions. I really would like to have her running again.
So, for now, nothing will be break down!
