anyhow i need a new latch for inside the door i have seen reanult breakers advertised in yellow pages are these reliable if anyone knows if not i had a price for £140 from reanult garage-i've tried scarpyard but its all fitted to the
frame i can't get it off
cheers for yr help

I don't know much about Lagunas in particular, but if it was any other car I'd say the latch just needs adjusting.

Forget the bit inside the door. The bit on the pillar (the latch plate) will be secured by three screws (probably torx headed). Try marking the position of the latch plate by drawing round it with a pen, then loosen off the screws a couple of turns and wiggle the latch plate outwards by about 2mm. Tighten up the screws and the problem should be solved.

It's possible the adjustment is by the bit you can see on the end of the door - so it the previous paragraph didn't help try doing the same to the bit attached to the door.

yes m8 i managed to move the part on the frame forward a little and it seem better-to be honest it was better and i thought it might pass but not-i just need to find a torx now to move the latch inside the door
cheers
