new Renault 4 big end bolts

Hi i am looking for a set of new r4 big end bolts can anyone help me ??

asking the obvious if you need 1108 (or indeed 956) would of thought renault should still have been able to help as last r5s clios and twingo s were still using pushrod engines in 1995 and pretty sure big end bolts and nuts would be compatible even if part number different
some dealers lose interest try Lifestyle listed at top of section

as for older 845 bolts no idea if renault cant help as personally always relied on gently tapping nuts down to crush last thread and small drop of loctite

i could be wrong and 845 bolts screw directly into rods as not had had one to bits for 20 yrs cant find workshop manual to check (Angel wiil know)

then again you might be an austin 7 fan (as some of us may suspect)

r4 big end bolts

as you correctly surmised they are for an austin seven, i am very much the illegal alien on this site!! but they are for a good cause! i am trying to build up a bullet proof engine using r4 rods and pistons which i already have, cos the bits are somewhat newer and stronger than the equivalent a7 bits. the rods are off an 845 cc engine so will try and find some bolts to fit, the bolts off the 945 and 1108 should fit assuming they did not alter the crank journal diameter?

probably not same as 845 engines are not related to later 5bearing engines sorry cant help further
