Hi !
I just noticed that there is a (new?) section concerning this matter.
I've done this allready to my 77'
How it was made
1) Door sealings, i bougth new seals from franzöze first for 4 doors and the for the tail-door.Sealings are hollow but not off porous material as seen in the clementine's presentation(Angels supply?).
I got a tip from my brother how to glue the whole 3,5 metres seal in one time as well as the door counterpart with contact-glue.After drying one day i did refresh door counterparts with thinner and then just push the seals in.If uou do the normal way (5 minits waiting time)you''l just have the 3,5metres seal mix up in a mess. This method has been used by a tractor company with door seal assy.
The new door seals were so tigth that i had to adjust the door locks to outmost edges to get the door lines to match with car.
Rear part was much easier.
2) Floor noise damping: original material was that bitumenious hairy ligth stuff which sucks water even from the nearest lakes and rusts the floor panels
I had a search of all materials available, even the dynamat was on the list but thougth it was too thick? i've put in 4mm's bitumen mats on the floor+sealed every corner with black owerpaintable PU- sealant for cars. With a heat gun it was quite easy bbut in low temps the bitumen is very crackable.Otherwise i think the old car can have its noisy roofs etc-just to feel the old times again and no music or radios in!
