Not a Morse Car

My brother in law has an old 1969 G reg Daimler V8 250 that he wants to get rid of for a few bob - It is a rare manual version with lovely wire wheels

It needs a bit of work to get it back on the road and is complete but in pieces. Collection from near Peterborough

What a coincidence. My copy of the Morning Star only had an article about a vintage Lada

Had a look on the DLOC site but didn't see your brothers car?. Tell him to give it a try, the manual versions are quite popular. Actually, it is a Morse car, the "jag" you saw on TV was a Daimler witha Jag grill.

The Daimler was always regarded as better if I remember correctly!

The engine was in the Damiler Dart SP250, there was also a bigger 4.5Lt version which was used in cars like the Majestic Major and the DR450 The 2.5Lt engine was much better than Jaguars 2.4Lt engine much more powerful and fairly economical too.
