Oops, more maintenance needed

I was bombing along the M11 Yesterday on the way back from Alexandra Palace when suddenly the exhaust on my Clan started to make the most dreadful rasp. I kept going as any youngster would and it got worse. Now when i back off it pops and gurgles so i assume the baffles inside the silencer have fallen apart as the system has no holes in it.

Better get on the phone to the exhaust warehouse or better still off a green car i know of that is no longer road worthy

Could be just air getting in from a loose joint, theycan make ssome bad noises then...

I wish it was. It has a clean break in the pipe just before it goes into the tail box so I have raised it up in my friends ramp and cut a 5inch tube in half and clamped it around the break. It seems fine now.

I also noticed the underneath looks in very good order still. I put this down to me giving it a coating of thick old used oil out of an air gun canister just before the salt was spread. Glad I did now. The messiness paid off
