origional colour?

Following our purchase of Fifi, (my wifes choice not mine), my father in law has caught the r4 bug. He has bought a 1982 4tl . The car has been flashed over in a creamy off white, he would like to repaint in the origional colour also white (ish!).I cannot make out the paint colour code on the inner front wing so has anyone out there any ideas

Is any of the original colour left on the inside or under the bonnet? If so, then go your local friendly paint supplier and he will (hopefully) have some colour cards to match it. If part of the inner wing code is still visible then see how much of it matches on the colour card code.
