Paint ??

Hi, does anybody know where to get aerosol can of paint from? Minty has contracted the rust virus and is in need of a little tlc. Having no manner of luck in tracking down her apparently unusual colour. Code is 916, celadon. Suggestions greatly received.

For special colours like that you would need to go to your local automotive paint shop. They should be able to mix up a can (or paint in a can is cheaper if you have a lot to do and can find/hire spraying equipment). If you get stuck my local paint shop Nu Agane will post.

So do I! Body filler is on it's way, waiting for the paint to arrive to.....ho hum. Was having difficulty tracking things down here in France. So a big thanks guys for your help. Will keep you posted on progress. Although my Dad (bless him) has just sheared off the 2 bolts that hold on the rubber around the petrol filler. Never rains but it pours

Things are progressing. Also found a rusty spot under the bonnet, sigh. Still, it didn't take long for my better half to patch it.

I am Soo Lucky that my husband can do almost everything I ask of him . Nearly finished. He took the time to sort out the bumper, love him. Although, it now means we have todo the front one to match.

Well, finally, we are getting there. Lots of fun getting the bumper back on, that's not obvious is it? Lights and petrol cap repaired. Just plucking up the courage to attempt the black gasket joint along the wing. Oh, and have to match the front bumper to as that's still silver. Having fun though

Does your bumper have those plastic "stops" like on your front bumper?

Yes and they are broken so will have to raid the piggy bank again. Order some new ones at some point.

Thanks, he has worked hard, with a bit of assistance from me. Light touch on the sanding. He is out there at the minute, in a thunder storm!! Trying to get the front bumper finished, black like the rear. So much better than spray can silver and they match the door side panels. Still haven't found the courage to attempt the joint seals yet. The storm has knocked our internet connection again......

Minty is done, and I am so happy . Masked the joints and they look ok. Pleased with the end result. Loving my new black bumpers, attitude! The colour match is great, even in our bright sunshine.
