painting the back legs

Hi,
I just managed to drop off the whole back torsion bar assembly. Chassis is perfect luckily with just a bit of surface rust. I'm wondering what to paint the chasis with where the suspension bolts on?
I have epoxy mastic but Im wondering if it will be too thick? Its this stuff.

I also have some parweld galvanising spray cans.
Any thoughts welcome.

Epoxy mastic is the stuff. Brush paint it and then roller it out if you are worried about a good finish though, because it doesn't self level at all! A foam gloss roller will gve a slightly stippled finish.
