Petrol pump

Are 1100 petrol pumps the same as earlier 850 pumps and can they be interchanged?

On a friend's car, there was a smell of petrol and on investigation I found that the outlet pipe has come come loose on the top of the pump and I only have early parts !

I think the 1100 pumps are different. I have an 1100 pump and I can send you a photo if you pm me your email.
