R4 drive shafts

The R4 workshop manual that I have just acquired states that the post 1969 model drive shafts are not interchangeable from car to car, it depends on the year of manufacture and the length of the suspension wishbone fitted.
looking at the ones fitted on my R4 they seem to be the wrong ones but the car drive OK apart from the fact that it seems to lean slightly on the drivers side probably the dampers, according to this manual the drive shafts fitted should be the 4 ball Bendix at the gearbox end with the six ball lobro at the wheel end....any ideas if this is correct, along with any other offers of advice regarding my problems.
regards
billy

Re: the drive shafts "If it aint broke, don't fix it"!!

The car leans because the torsion bar on the driver's side is a little tired because that's where most of the weight has been throughout the car's life. Don't worry about it as an inch to an inch and a half lower than norm is just about acceptable.
