Bumper colour was always said to be Hammerite Smoth Grey, however that is not available any more. Can any one advise a replacemnt paint preferably in an aerosol. My bumpers have lost most of their paint, just worn away with the weather not rusty still though.
Thanks

I'd go for Ferro-Bet grey.it's actually a semi-matte primer,it covers really nice and bites like acid.
Gives a real good rust-proofing and is easy-piecy to renew if necassary-and:comes as aerosol..
-several thin layers (wet-on-wet) better than one thick -R.

I have used RAL 7030 color (shade/tone)
There was test between two RAL colors witch one better changes original 677 GRIS MAT (renault color code)
It has ended to this RAL 7030.

Problem that can (and probably will) happened is that newly painted bumpers will be little bit lighter than other old painted parts in same color.
Be aware of that.
But if you only have bumpers to paint than small peaces will be far away to notice difference.

Used that ral code too, matches really well with other grey details like grill and handles...
