I would like to share this episode with you R4 enthusiasts:
I needed to replace a very corroded nearside mudguard, and managed to source one in a nearby supplier on the next town. I only had to help me as a back-up vehicle a Honda Hornet 600 motorbike. But a Renault 4 owner is never deterred!...
I went to the shop, bought the mudguard, and the shopattendants couldnt believe when I started to strap the mudguard to my back using masking tape! I wrap around my back and waist several meters, and left the shop.
Between me and the workshop, I had to travel about 10 Miles in a Motorway, in which I did, as usual, an average of 120 Mph! With a black piece of metal strapped on my back, that made me look like Donatello from the Ninja turtles!
Never get dettered by the odds and the difficulties..Have a nice weekend.
