R4 Parts from Renault dealers

Hi all,
there are a lot of R4 parts that are not carried by people like Melun Retro Passion and Der Franzose, but they are still available and people can order them from their friendly Renault dealer.......

Unfortunately, Renault in Australia have decided as a new policy to stop bringing in such R4 parts even if they show up on Dialogys and are available from France, as R4s are "too old" which is a bummer to say the least.

I have considered going back to ordering parts from Marchants/Whitehouse in Tunbridge Wells but they seem to have gorn or been taken over by Lifestyle Renault who don't seem to have a "Parts" bit on their website. I guess "parts" are too grubby and dirty for the now generation, too pre-post-modern for the zesty young things out to buy a colour-coordinated Twingo- so where is there in the UK for us unreconstructed colonials to try?????

Help please!

Once upon time i have stumbled on this web page

http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/

where you can find parts, availability and prices according to renault cat number.

Have never, ever ordered something form it. but worth to try

When i search something from renault dealer, i go there with part no (or they look for it), then they go to their internal order form/web/catalog and look for that part no.
There they can tell me if pat is still available and when part can be at that local dealer.
Some times parts are not available any more (aldo there is periodical change of parts that came available again so need to check every now and then), some are available in 2 days (at warehouse in Slovenia - local big warehouse), some in 10 days (main warehouse in Paris)

Tell us how it goes

Thanks Petak- I've shot them off a billet doux and I'll let you know how it goes....

Regarding the web page mentioned I am currently trying to purchase a wheel bearing for an Alpine A610
Typing the part number took me to there order page for part listed as stock item
They took order and money I got excited that I could reassemble a customers car 2 days later I received the following message Screenshot_2015-07-20-07-45-26.png
Maybe I was un lucky and at least the money has been refunded
So I don't know wether they have got actual stock or are relying on percentages of reselling from other suppliers

Thank you Mr-reno-139 for shearing info with us.

So they are not 100% accurate about stock.
At least you got your money back...that is positive.

Would hate myself if i put web that is corrupted....

Sound like good idea to ask them first about specific part and then put order.

Good afternoon all, just seen this. Fyi I have ordered a number of Renault parts ( mostly straightforward service parts, brake parts, shocks) from these guys by phone and email. The parts guy is called Tom Cox and he has been really helpful and reliable for me:
