R4 wrecks in France

Hi everybody,

when when live in France, especially in the campaign like me, we have sometimes the chance to find "surprises" in copses, forests, meadows... I like walking, the hike and every time I discover a new R4 I took a picture... here are some of my discoverings...

First of all, a poor F4 from which the owner took parts to repair another one in his farm... Notice that even with the parts of white one, when I looked under the orange R4, I noticed the chassis was definitively DEAD ops: ops:

Another exemple of what we can find here and there not far from home... A "splendid" 64 "bleu ile de France" R4:



The day I found this -it was a long time ago- I looked for the owner to ask him if it was possible to take some parts which were in good condition (few parts as you can imagine...), he friendly told me I could take what I wanted, and I took dashboard, rear emblem, wipers motor... The R4 was definitively impossible to restore, the floor has completely disappear, and if you carefully look at the first picture, you can see the front of the chassis has been cut to make a trailer
