Also the lower radiator hose from the radiator to the water pump.

Hi Jason and Amy
Could you tell us which system you've got in your car? There should be a name on the distributor body - Ducellier or Femsa.
Also, do you mean 'distributor cap' rather than 'distributor'?
The Intermotor catalogue gives these numbers:
R5TX 83-85 : Distributor cap: 46060 Rotor: 47410 for Ducellier distributors; 46590 and 48690 respectively for Femsa distributors. Some photos would be really helpful! UK 82-83 models had a different rotor arm - 47380. If you have an old rotor arm, can you post a photo?
Can you give us the engine type number (on the block to the left of the distributor)?

Hi Andy

I did mean distributor cap sorry the cap did not have any markings but the rotor did have Ducellier and it also said that on the shaft of the distributor arm at the bottom. This is Amy's project car she wants to be a machinic we have decided to do a bit more work to the car once we started taking it apart and are trying to get it running better. Any help would be apricated there is not many of these in New Zealand if any others we thought it would be a good project.

Regards Jason and Amy.

Looks a great car!
Have found a French manual which gives Champion N9Y as the plugs for the C2JP7/13 engine.
I've had a couple of R5s, but never one with the engine yours has. I'm sure there are people on the forum who have (had) TXs, though.
Good luck with it!

Here is some more photos the shaft on the distributor is 10mm20240905_072935.jpg20240905_072927.jpg20240905_072855.jpg20240905_072956.jpg20240905_073001.jpg

The size of the leads, I not sue but is there suppose to be a plastic cover inside the distributor?
2x 320
2x 420
1x 845 which includes the 90 degree knuckle

Thanks for your help
Regards Jason and Amy
