Do any of you folks out there in R4 land have any photos or diagrams of the rear anti-roll bar set up on a vehicle with cast rear swinging arms? You see I wish to fit an A-R bar to Marigold, and on my recent trip to France I managed to obtain one which came off an F4 van. The only thing is this van had pressed-steel arms, but Marigolds are cast and the clamping blocks just don't seem right for the job. It looks like a spacer is required, which shouldn't be a problem to make, but I just wondered what the actual set up is. Looking forward to any info. Thanks very much, Brian.

Does this help? It's from a '78 GTL.

It's a picture of the left hand side assembly, with one part already screwed loose and turned to free the anti roll bar.

Here is a set of photos I took from a spare rear axle. You are right, the mounting blocks are different on cast arms.

Thank you both for the pictures, yes there is a subtle difference between the two types of blocks. The ones I've got have the rounded groove to locate the bar on the thicker part of the block. So now I have to make up some spacers, no problem, unless someone out there has s set of blocks they can spare. In the mean time, happy new year to you both and all our friends out there in R4 land. Regards Brian.
