Hi so I've just tried to insure my 1975 r4 ,because she has no seat belts in the rear ,they are saying it's illegal to have it insured ....??????????
Try phoning Peter James and asking for a quote for a classic car policy: 0121 422 2282.Hi so I've just tried to insure my 1975 r4 ,because she has no seat belts in the rear ,they are saying it's illegal to have it insured ....??????????
Your insurer are talking bobbins - the car wouldn't have had seatbelts when new and doesn't legally need them now. But as above, try a classic insurer if thats not what you are already doing. I've used RH Classic for the last few years and they are very good.
Thanks guys for your advice will get on the phone tomorrow ,just one more question ,my r4 was first registered 1/12/1975 does this mean she is tax exempt in 2016 ..?
Thanks Mark
