rear shocks

The rebuild of my gtl is in full swing but I'm having trouble with the rear shocks. do they mount on the inside or outside of the arm.Can someone post a pic please.

welding is all done but when I try to fit the shock back in on the inside of the arm the bolt hits on of the chassis mounting bolts

I don't have a photo to hand, so to save time - the rear shocks bolt to the outside of the mounting on the rear suspension.

Your seond photo didn't post too well. Nooooo - Forum bug! Probably there's a limit to how big a photo it can cope with.

The welding looks neat though - nice repair.

thanks Clem,in the clear light of a new day it all became obvious!!!Just finnished rebuilding the new brakeshoes(what happened to the good old days when the shoes came with all the bits on them)?the 1st photo I posted was sent by mistake, but I'll send it again as it's my other pride and joy that I bought as a basket case 4 years ago.photo taken at a french race circuit! but which one ?
