Rear suspension arm repair.

Hoping that someone can offer advice as to repair of cast iron rear suspension arm.
It appears that the neck has snapped as it enters the bushing.
I know inserts can be machined and welded into the broken "tube".
Has anyone tried this? Was it successful?

Any other advice would be gratefully received.

No reason to try and repair it, finding a good secondhand one would be easier, cheaper and more safe.
