Good morning everyone,
I recently bought my first 4 which I'm really enjoying using. When I was learning to drive in my teens we had a family 1975 Renault 6tl, which had previously been my grandads which had only done 18k when It became ours at 6 years old. I loved its ride and design, including the 'funny' gearstick. Forward 30years and I decided I wanted another and earlier this year a watched and bid on a 1973 6tl but lost out in the last few seconds a few weeks later up pops a Renault 4 Savane locally which I quicky purchased. It sounds and drives just like our 6, which was I now realise was a 'posh' 4. Its now mot'd & mechanically sorted. Its body is solid but with some 'life' marks which give it even more character. The people in this forum have been great, helping me to sort through some teething issues and I just want to say a Big thank you. These cars are infectious lol
