Removing rear shocks

Having trouble removing the rear shock, the bottom part of the shock that fits in to the chassis. How does it come out. If i turn the nut the inside of the shock turns? Any ideas? Working on it now so quick reply gratefully appreciated.

If i remember correctly there are two nuts. So you can take two wrench and turn upper nut in right side to unscrew nut and lower nut in left side to screw it.
If this does not do the job then take some pliers and hold threaded shaft with them and try to unscrew nut
