Try to buy DeCarbon / Delphi gas pressurised dampers (see http://www.renault4.co.uk/tech-dampers.htm ) . Must be a Delphi supplier in SA who could order them for you. So far as I know they are still available from Delphi.

can somebody please give me info regarding the following brand rear dampers, "NORTEX" or "HYDRO".
did someone use them before.
Q. where can i found "de garbon" dampers.

R4 rear shocks

Melun Retro Passion in France (on interweb) do de Carbon shocks. Best time to buy is before August/September and not just after because their stock usually gets cleared out by the locals spending the summer holiday preparing their cars for raids.
I put a pair on 2 yrs ago and they are great.
