Hello all I'm new to the forum and am here to admit my shame... I bought the car in 1997, drove it to london and put it in a colleagues large garage space - she was happy for me to work on it there. I started by attempting to patch weld the inner wings and put on new outers. But I don't think my welding is very good. So house buying DIY, marriage, divorce, house selling and all the other complications of life have got in the way in the intervening years.
I have been contacted by the owners saying I need to clear it out so it would need trailering away. I think the brakes will be seized and all the usual problems.
It was roadworthy when bought and drove from Nottingham to London where it is now.
It's done about 40,000 from new, I have Original handbook and SORN and keys. Whatever I raise for it will go to the garage's owner for letting me store it for free...
It's based in London SW2. Unfortunately I have no photos but will be trying to gain access. Alternatively anyone interested can go to look, I can liaise with the owner. I'm not sure what it's worth - I suppose whatever someone who can scoop it away quickly is prepared to pay..
