We have decided to sell Pat's Renault 4cv as we have not used it since we have lived here, and what with one project and another we would prefer it to go to a new home so that someone else can get some enjoyment out of it.
Its a 1956 model, with the 3 'moustaches' and the earlier type detachable rim wheels. It was driven here about 4 years ago and has been barn stored since.
The battery has been replaced, and after fresh petrol was added, and the distributor cleaned the car fired up and moved under its own steam.
Obviously the brakes, electrics etc will need checking over before it goes back into regular service - last used regularly 5 years ago in the UK.
The car was originally bought in the Calvados region, shipped to the UK, re registered there about 10 years ago.
It has not been re registered in France.
It also comes with an ERDE monoroue (single wheel) trailer, the cover of which has been replaced with a new one - this is worth around 500 euros alone.
We are looking for offers over £3000 for the car plus trailer.
It will also come with an accumulation of parts, manuals and various other bits and pieces - not for sale seperately.
